Head of a terracotta statue representing a woman with elaborate coiffure. Red and black paint on the face and hair. The pattern of the hair is distinctive and later becomes associated with the representation of Nubians in Greek art. From the bothros (sacred repository) of the sanctuary on the plateau called Peristeries, sector B.D7.
