The mission of Sponsored Research Accounting is to assist, guide and support Principal Investigators and departmental administrators in the financial administration of their Princeton University sponsored research projects. The primary functions of SRA are: to provide assurance to University faculty, departmental administrators, to personnel from government and non-government sponsoring agencies and organizations, and to other users inside and outside the University, that all financial data reported on research projects is accurate and timely; and to see that the University is promptly and correctly reimbursed by sponsors for all research costs. SRA goals in pursuit of our mission are efficiency, accuracy and timeliness.
