The
Rent Department is responsible for collection activities asssociated with the rental agreements owned by
Princeton University provided to faculty, staff, and graduate
students. Princeton University owns and manages over 600 rental units,
ranging in size from efficiency and studio apartments to five-bedroom
freestanding single family homes. In a typical year, there are over 1,350
rental agreements managed by the Rent Department. The Department works closely with
the Housing Office, where agreements are arranged. (http://facilities.princeton.edu/housing/).
The Department is also responsible for managing security fund deposits,
and for the collection of select commercial property rentals.
