Campus Mailings

Mail Services collects and distributes campus mailings to undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and administrative staff members.

The campus mail system is to be used for only University's business. Nonaffiliated organizations, and outside vendors are not permitted access to the mail system.

With the exception of campus mail addressed to the Frist mailboxes, Mail Services does not deliver directly to the addressed individual or department. Delivery is most often completed via an additional sort/delivery process developed by/for each department, and the Graduate School.

  • All Undergraduate Students - Campus Mail is delivered to individual boxes at the Frist Campus Center. The proper addressing is:

    Student's Name
    Mailbox Number
    Frist Campus Center

  • Academic/Administrative Departments - Mail is delivered to a designated location or locations for each department. The methodology for further sorting and delivery is established by each department. The proper addressing for departmental mail is:

    Name
    Department
    Building

  • Bulk Mailings - To facilitate processing, bulk mailings are to be presorted by campus address, and banded together by location.

Mailings to all undergraduate students should reflect the Frist mailbox number.

Outgoing Mail

Students may drop off outgoing stamped mail at the following locations:

  • Frist Campus Center
  • Residential Colleges
  • B Floor New South
  • Graduate College
  • Additional locations identified by academic departments

Designated Departmental Mail Locations
Mail Services will take this mail to the US Post Office for entry into the US postal delivery system.
