The following training resources are available to the campus community to facilitate proper purchasing training:

• "How to Buy" Training - Comprehensive overview training on the various methods and proper procedures to acquire goods and services for University business needs. Contact Don Weston or Brian Rounsavill to schedule a training session.
• Princeton MarketPlace (e-commerce) Training - Individual or group training sessions can be facilitated to show buyers how to order online using the Princeton MarketPlace (OrgSupply) portal. Contact Brian Rounsavill or Sam Formica to schedule a training session.
• Departmental Credit Card Training - Individual or group training sessions can be facilitated to familiarize card holders and approvers with the departmental credit card program and Works application. Contact Joe Lane or Brian Rounsavill to schedule a training session.
• Purchase Order Training - Several classes are available for the various aspects of the PeopleSoft purchasing system. Contact the OIT Training Center to see if classes are available.

• Purchasing Overview - Understanding and complying with these six general principles will enable you to be a good steward with the University’s resources.
• Purchasing Basics - A brief synopsis of the basic policies, procedures and terminology associated with purchasing for easy reference and understanding.
• Purchasing Roles - A clear distinction has been outlined between the two primary roles and their associated responsibilities for purchasing at Princeton.
• Purchasing Wizard - To learn more, take the interactive tutorial on the procurement process at Princeton University.
• Purchasing Brochures - The Purchasing Department has made several brochures available in an effort to provide more information for our campus community and service providers.
