• Connecticut (Meals & Lodging Tax only)
• Delaware (No state sales tax)
• Florida
• Georgia (No exemption granted)
• Hawaii (No exemption granted)
• Idaho
• Iowa (No exemption granted)
• Illinois
• Indiana
• Maryland (No exemption granted)
• Maine
• Massachusetts
• Michigan
• Minnesota (Except for meals and lodging)
• Missouri
• Montana (No state sales tax)
• Nebraska (No exemption granted)
• Nevada (No exemption granted)
• New Hampshire (No state sales tax)
• New Jersey (Princeton is not exempt from the NJ State Hotel/Motel Occupancy Tax.)

• New York City (Hotel Room Occupancy Tax only)
• North Carolina (No exemption granted)

These exemptions are applicable for University purchases of tangible property or taxable services, not for purchases by employees for items purchased for personal use or with personal funds.
