Internship Credit Letters
We encourage students to seek internships that provide them with the
opportunity to explore their interest in an area. While many internships
offer compensation, others are either on a volunteer basis or are restricted
to those who will receive academic credit for the experience. The latter are typically found
in industries such as communications, entertainment, and journalism.
Career Services has developed a letter that outlines the University's policy to
potential internship providers; a student requesting such a letter should
contact the internship coordinator at the Office of
Career Services.
Students may also approach you about other documents that relate to
potential employment at an organization. As we have been in frequent
contact with the Office of the General Counsel, we ask that you refer
students to our office for assistance with these matters.
If you have
further questions concerning internship credit letters, please contact
our Internship Coordinator, Aileen Kyung Kim, or our Director, Beverly Hamilton-Chandler,
at 258-3325. |
