Internships

With the current job market, students with internship experiences are often more competitive when applying for permanent positions because they have developed skills that complement their academic learning and had the opportunity to learn about the "real world of work." For this reason, students are always searching for practical experience opportunities in different career fields to enhance their academic studies. Internships can be as short as a few weeks or as long as a few months. Some positions are compensated while others are purely for the experience. The most important ingredient to a successful internship is an organization and, if possible, an on-site mentor, who want to educate an intern about a particular career field.

If you or someone from your organization are interested in offering an internship to a Princeton student or you would like to talk about the process of creating an internship program at your company, please contacts Aileen Kyung Kim at kyungkim@princeton.edu or (609) 258-7214.
