Summer Housing Information

Are you looking for a place to live during your internship or summer job? There are a number of useful online resources to help you explore summer housing options. Please note that Career Services does not endorse any of these programs in particular. It is up to you to make the determination if a particular accomodation is appropriate.

In addition to these web sites, there are some other places to look and people to talk to for information about summer housing. Get ideas and assistance from:

  • your internship supervisor about where previous interns have lived
  • previous interns from the organization where you plan to work (ask your new employer for their contact information)
  • family, friends, contacts from school and alumni about summer housing ideas fora particular geographic location
  • TigerTrade on Point allows you to view lisitings or post your own request

Some universities allow students to rent space in a residence hall for the summer. Examples include:

Please note that this is a very popular option for students and the application deadlines are usually in early spring. Call or look at the web sites of local colleges and universities' off-campus housing offices. They may know of current students looking to sublet an apartment for the summer.
