Career Counseling and Appointments

Work with a career counselor to clarify your interests and skills, explore college majors, explore career options, evaluate graduate and professional schools, and develop job search strategies. We are a resource for the "undecided" as well as the "very focused".

Arrange an appointment by coming to the office at 201 Nassau Street or calling (609) 258-3325. Initial appointments are typically 30 minutes. If you are not in the Princeton area, you may schedule a consultation with a counselor via telephone.

WALK-IN HOURS: During the academic year we offer walk-in hours every weekday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm (3:45 pm is the last slot). Walk-ins allow you to come in, sign up for a 15-minute time slot, and speak with a counselor.

Walk-ins are ideal for quick questions, such as: getting an overview of services available, having a resume critiqued, or answering questions about a particular graduate school application. Please use walk-ins at any time if you aren't sure where to get started; when you meet with a counselor, she will address your questions and recommend next steps (such as a follow-up appointment).
