Job Search Assistance

Career counselors consult with students and alumni individually to help develop career goals and job search strategies, according to the unique interests and needs of the individual. Schedule an appointment to create your personal job search plan. Workshops and programs are also offered throughout the year to provide job seekers with the tools they need to secure employment, such as resume writing workshops and career panels. Be sure to check our online calendar for events during the academic year.

Resume, Cover Letter & Interview Preparation

Maximize the impression you make on employers and interviewers. Have your resumes and cover letters reviewed by a counselor during walk-ins or appointments, or drop off your materials for written feedback. Prepare for interviews through a videotaped mock interview, learning strategies for effective communication and presentation of your skills. Mock interviews may be scheduled by calling the office at 258-3325.
