Guidelines for the Campus Community

Evacuating Buildings
In the event of an evacuation alarm or other
indication that the building must be evacuated:
- If possible to do so safely and without delaying evacuation, procure
your keys, coat, purse or wallet.
- Exit the building via the nearest stairwell or street grade exit.
- Go to the designated
assembly point per your building's Emergency
Action Plan.
- Remain at the assembly point at least until your supervisor or Emergency
Coordinator has accounted for you.
- Do not re-enter the building until instructed to do so by Public Safety.
During evacuation, please assist persons with disabilities
and those who are unfamiliar with the building.
