Emergency Guidelines for the Campus Community
H1N1 Influenza(Swine Flu) Updated November 18, 2009 On Tuesday, November 24, 2009, Princeton University will offer the H1N1 vaccine (injection) to faculty, staff, students and their dependents in the high risk groups identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. See the communication to faculty and staff and to students for more information. Princeton University officials are actively monitoring the H1N1 (swine) flu that has sickened people worldwide, and we are taking a range of steps to prevent the spread of flu on Princeton’s campus. The University's medical and environmental health staff are in communication with local and state public health officials in New Jersey, and continue to respond to direction and guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As H1N1 continues to infect populations across the world, University officials want to ensure that students, faculty and staff are aware of guidelines to follow should they develop flu-like symptoms or come into contact with individuals exhibiting flu-like symptoms. This website provides up-to-date information about H1N1 influenza and describes the University's preparedness efforts and responses to this evolving public health incident. We will continue to update this information to reflect new developments affecting our community.
