Dazel Output Management
| The Dazel output management system provides enhanced printing
services such as job retention and reprinting for selected pages for
administrative applications. It also provides back-end
processing for the Campus Fax Gateway and Send Me PDF
services. Most jobs that Dazel handles are queued by an
existing command or program, such as the Unix lpr command or the
Windows PUFAX program. The jobs are then forwarded to Dazel by
the intermediate server that processes the initial job
requests. A few applications use the native Dazel client,
which is available on both Unix and Windows, and is installed when
an application requires facilities that cannot be easily provided by
the existing commands or programs.
