| Tivoli monitoring software is currently installed on all
production CIT UNIX and Windows NT servers. It is monitoring a
set of system performance and health indicators, and sending
notifications when error conditions are detected. Several applications are also
being monitored by Tivoli, including the Tivoli Workload Scheduler, the
Ontime calendar server, and the Blackboard Web server.
Future plans are to extend Tivoli monitoring to Oracle databases,
mail service, and to administrative applications.
