| NATASHA LEE (Ph.D. Harvard U.) is an Assistant Professor specializing in the French Enlightenment and on the relation between literature and other discourses, most notably, philosophy, political theory, history of science, and aesthetics – with an interest in the theoretical legacies of Enlightenment debates. Her current manuscript, Nature’s Conquest, examines the naturalization of identity in French eighteenth-century fiction and her new project considers conceptions of subjectivity and dreams in the Enlightenment period. She has published articles on Rousseau, questions of sex and gender, and teaches courses on the Enlightenment, and on French film and film theory. |
