The Romance Languages Gallery of Images



     Provided you have the necessary viewing software (e.g. L-View or JPEGView), the JPEG images presented below may be enlarged when you click on them. These images have been produced, or downloaded, from a wide assortment of sources--a manuscript in the Princeton University Library Manuscript Collection, the Très-Belles Heures du duc de Berry (the Chantilly manuscript), the WWW site of the French Ministry of Culture, the WebMuseum, Paris collection (put together with learning and taste by Nicolas Pioch), the Bibiotheca Apostolica Vaticana, to name merely a few. Their use is strictly limited to the educational objectives of Princeton University and its Department of Romance Languages and Literatures; they may not be reproduced in any form.
