Mathey College Book Club
In 2004, Mathey joined Oprah (and just about everybody
else) by creating a book club. We started with I
Am Charlotte Simmons by Tom Wolfe, followed by A
Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson.
Mathey supplies copies of the chosen book (first come, first served) and
the Mathey Common Room for discussion groups with interested
Mathey students and staff members. All are invited to read, come
to the discussion group, snack(!) and to suggest works for
consideration (fiction, nonfiction, poetry).
