HistoryClimbing Wall

In 1908, a small group of Princeton University students and alumni founded the Princeton Summer Camp. They were determined to make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged inner-city children by offering them healthy and character-building camping experiences.

Today, The Princeton-Blairstown Center continues to serve inner-city youth, their families and communities as its primary mission. In addition to working with grass-roots social service agencies, the Center also serves the Princeton University community, a broad range of school groups, churches and a variety of community organizations. Groups vary in size from 10 to 125 with programs lasting from one to five days or longer.

While closely affiliated with Princeton University, the Center is an independent, nonprofit organization and must raise its own funds through user fees, donations from individuals, foundations and corporations, special events and endowment income.
