The Department of Public Safety hires Faculty/Staff, Casual Hourly and a student crew during Reunions. Duties might include: security detail for reunion sites, lockouts, staffing restricted parking lots, and working the welcome desk. Housing is provided and each worker has the option of buying a Reunions wristband from the Office of Alumni Association.

SECURITY DETAILS
DPS Supplemental Staff: DPS hires University and Non University personnel along with contracted vendor to supplement Public Safety functions at various reunions sites. The staff works closely with Reunion chairs, student crews and DPS Officers to secure reunion sites and enforce University safety procedure and alcohol policy.
Lockout Coverage: Providing supplemental coverage in conjunction with the Communications Center and Patrol Officers allowing access to dormitory rooms to individuals who are locked out.
Parking Lot Security: Securing various parking lots campus wide preventing unauthorized parking in specified lots.
Stationary Post: Prevent unauthorized individuals from entering buildings attempting to gain access into Reunion site.
Welcome Desk: Providing general information for visiting alumni and those seeking Public Safety assistance. Answer phones, assist with Lost & Found and provide general customer service.
NOTE: Van Certification Deadline For Reunions is May 12, 2009, THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
