Dependents and Relatives Dependents Princeton University sponsored F-1 and J-1 students who wish to bring their dependents (spouses and unmarried children under 21) to the U.S. as F-2 or J-2 dependents should call the Office of Visa Services at (609) 258-1451 to arrange an appointment with Mladenka Tomasevic, the International Graduate Student Advisor. Students need to submit bank statements to the Office of Visa Services so that a visa eligibility document (I-20 or DS-2019) for a dependent can be issued. For more information, please click here. Relatives The Office of Visa Services can provide Princeton University sponsored F-1 and J-1 students with invitation letters for relatives to use when applying for a tourist visa (B-2) at a U.S. Consulate/Embassy abroad.
